I thought of doing this but never did. My little girls band was all pink - and I deco'ed with stickers.

Post a pic of it if you can - I'd love to see!

Decorating:Bows

Hello everyone,

I am new to the group and am basically just jumping in after a short

search.

My dd is 6 mo old and has had the Starband for about ten days. I have

a friend whose dd is 10 mo and has had the starband for 2 months. My

friend put a small piece of velcro on the helmet and bows for a very

cute decoration. She had great success with it and so I did the same

right off the bat. I didn't see any reference to the use of bows in

the files and only one post in the archives. As long as one makes

sure the velcro stays secure (as we should with stickers too) and the

baby isn't constantly grabbing the bow off, it really works quite

well. Neither of our daughters have ever taken the bow off. They

have 'felt' the velcro spot (when no bow was attached) but that is

all. I also don't let her sleep with a bow either just for safety.

For my friend and I, it helps us feel like we still have our 'little

girls' IYKWIM.

So here is my question, is there really no one out there who is using

bows?
