Guest guest
I noticed today that my Adam's Apple seems enlarged. Could this be from being hypo (too little cortisol and thyroid). It's too high for the thyroid, and moves when I swallow so I don't think it's a goiter. Anyway, can a goiter form in only 5 weeks of being off cortisol and a reduced Armour dose?. I'm not sure also as it could also just be the voice box or the muscles that stabilize it in the throat getting bigger due to singing. Jim > I had one too when I was extremely low in cortisol. Guest guest
I have that. Mine enlarged a few years ago and never did go down. At first I just thought it was another nodule. I guess it still could be but the other ones seemed to move and this one doesn't. I haven't had it checked since I don't have medical insurance but I am not going to worry about it either since it isn't getting larger or anything. Yours might be a nodule from thyroid and when you get back on meds it should go away after a few weeks. My nodules tend to come and go...all except whatever is on my AA.
