Guest guest
Although hyperthyroidism is fairly common in cats, it is mainly OLDER ones I am told. Course they told me too that NONE were hypothyroid, so ??? I would say it is just bored kitty though as they find many ways to amuse themselves. Cats are more intelligent than most folks think and thus easily bored. Is she an only cat? If so she needs a buddy. that would help redirect that energy into playing instead of trouble. *Artistic Grooming * Hurricane, WV Fat cat? Diabetes? Guest guest
That would be a tortietude as we call it in the cat fancy. I have an International winning Household pet that is a seal tortie point and white. She runs my house. She and the blue tortie point get cross wise sometimes. Torties of any pattern are different...... Kate At 01:30 PM 12/21/2004, you wrote: >Hmmmm, Yes, I think she is a diluted Calico! Your good! LOL > >Kathy > Re: DHEA > > > Is it a calico? Guest guest
I know this has gone over before, but does anyone have anything to say about the use of DHEA BEFORE doing anything else about low cortisol? My hubby' new doc is also holding an increaswe of Armour. He's doing really well and lost 22 lbs since starting so he's really into doing whatever she says right now. She also IV'd him w DMPS to test for heavy metals. Any feedback is appreciated. Esmeralda Sent from my BlackBerry® wireless device
Guest guest
This is exactly how my husband has been treated. He has very high copper and uses DMPS for detox, uses 1.5 grain Armour, and a high dosage of DHEA. They did put him on Isocort at a later date. He is doing really well with that protocol. I would say if your hubby is doing well, then keep at it like that. Guest guest
Hi Esmeralda, Pre - HC, my DHEA was sky high, over the range. Now that I'm on HC, it is in the basement, under the range. So for me, HC lowered my DHEA. If your hubby's cortisol is already low, I think you would want to get that up before starting DHEA. I'm not an expert - maybe Val will weigh in here. >>>I know this has gone over before, but does anyone have anything to say about the use of DHEA BEFORE doing anything else about low cortisol? Guest guest
Thanks, he just read this and smiled big. He's always asking me to " ask my groups " . Now we just have to find a good one (DHEA). Esmeralda Sent from my BlackBerry® wireless device Re: DHEA This is exactly how my husband has been treated. Guest guest
My doctor told me to try taking the DHEA before taking Cortef, sometimes apprently that can do the trick. So far, I've only started the VIT C, of all he mentioned , and have noticed a bit of improvement. Money and insurance are my issues for not trying the cortef yet. Thats just what he told me, I thought Id throw it in.
