I used California Baby Super Sensitive shampoo once I noticed the dryness occuring in my son from the s were were using. It is so mild and worked so well now that we are graduates we still use it. I got it at Buy Buy baby they do not have it at Babies R Us. Starband for a week now and everything has been going smoothly, but her head as of today has started to get a little "flakey". I have been using the Aveno baby shampoo, but is there anything else anybody recommends? I would really appreciate it. Thanks!! Kari in CA. Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Mobile. Hi Kari,

The same thing happened to my son. We used Aquaphor on his skin and it cleared it right up. If you are not familiar with Aquaphor it is a Vaseline type ointment that you can find in the lotion and baby isle at stores like Wal-Mart, Target, and drug stores. Hope this helps!

I also use aquaphor on his head and cheeks and wherever I may need it on him and me. The stuff is great. Good Luck. TammyNatasha <nlw9af@...> wrote: Hi Kari, The same thing happened to my son. I didn't used to wash her hair every day, just every other. But I have used the advice of the baby oil and then combing her hair, followed by washing it and it has seemed to clear up. Thanks everyone who commented!!! Durocher <funwith4@...> wrote: are you washing her hair daily? did you before the band? have you switched soaps? if that is the case it may be that she is not used to the chemicals (in shampoo) so they are drying her scalp, whcih means she eitherw ill get used to it or it will come back. if it comes back, to prevent it you can try using the aveeno less frequently, only 2-3 times a week and the other days use (or you could use the other stuff every day but I liked using a smelly shampoo once or twice a week) something that is sodium lauryl/laureth free. we used burts bees baby shampoo but I know california baby is sls free too and target now carries that
