Guest guest
You take the basal before you get out of bed in the morning. This is associated with your thyroid. The rest of the day, you take it at least 3 hours after you get up. And then 3 hours later, And then 3 hours later. Then you average these 3 temps. Then you average these 3 temps. Your temps are stable when the average doesn't change more than .2 degrees F. The temps should be taken at approx. the same time each day. I'm not sure about the temp spike. Mine has a tendency to run higher than average durning the day,b ut lower than normal on basal. Val said it could be related to low Aldosterone. I'm going to get that checked the next time I go in. It sounds like you have problems with both. You have to address the adrenal issues first though. Are you on any thyroid yet? What level of adrenal fatigue are you at? Rie A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort. Herm Albright > I've been tracking my temps, not sure if Im doing it right. Guest guest
I'm still on my levothyroxine 75mcgs, starting my Vit C, waiting to start my b12, DHEA, Cortef, and others if needed. I keep getting into these doctors and then something goes wrong. This time, I cannot get the scripts to be covered with my insurance, and in the meantime, Im taking one thing at a time, last week was the Vit C I introduced. That's an idea, I dont have too much of a problem with frequent urination, a little toward the morning hours or right before bed I suppose...but...the temp spikes from about 5pm till I go to bed, very weird. My thoughts are a lingering virus, such as EBV or Canida,? The doc I recently saw only checked a few things, and left a few out too...I was disapointed. Another lump of money to find out only one more thing than I knew before. > > You take the basal before you get out of bed in the morning. This is > associated with your thyroid. Guest guest
I agree, very frustrating. Have you had salvia testing done yet? If you have, can you post those results. It would make it a bit easier to give you an idea of where to start or the next step to take. It's quite possible that you have other stuff like Candida or EBV going on and you can certainly check into those, but if you have already tested for adrenal fatigue, you really need to address it first. I can't see where anything is going to get better until your adrenals are helped out. :-) Rie A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort. Guest guest
I did the test back in October, waiting to retake it now. Folks on here said I was in stage 4, although the little black box put my into the reference range box, weird. Lower DHEA, etc. The results were low, normal, very low, and normal. Now, its hard to say what stage Im in, its been 4 months since that saliva test. I really need to retake it to see where Im at before anything. I just cant afford to yet. There needs to be loans for this stuff... I can see it now...the " adrenal fatigue victims loan " > > I agree, very frustrating. Have you had salvia testing done yet?
