Guest guest
Nan, I never thought of that before. Isn't that funny? What is funny too is that there are two girls on one of my workout tapes that for some reason remind me of you and Catalina. It's nuts, since from what you've both told me, these girls look nothing like you. I don't know why I even thought that, but I did the first time I watched the tape. I guess it's the personality of the two. The one that " reminds " me of you is very tall (which I know you're not), blonde short hair, quite thin, kinda shy, and keeps looking at like he's the biggest cheeseball dork ever. *That's* what really made me think of you! LOL! The one that reminds me of Catalina is about medium height and build, with thick, dark, shoulder length hair, dimples, spunky, and has so much energy I want to smack her. LMAO!! Guest guest
HI Ruth, Im glad you are doing well after the lumpectomy. I did 4 rounds of chemo, 1 every 2 weeks. The onc said he wanted to go every 2 weeks instead of every 3 because of the aggressiveness of the cells. I had 33 rounds of radiation, went 5 days a week. Glad its over. Aside from losing all my hair and being burned by the rays...Im doing well (now I just glow in the dark...hehe). Im not looking for anything to happen at this point but I sometimes feel Im waiting for the other shoe to drop. I have had tests and mamos done since the end of my treatments, but with each one its scary and nerve wrecking. The only lingering problem I have is that darn " chemo brain " . (or I could just be getting old...hehe). I do hope you Dad will be ok. My Dad had prostate surgery then developed bladder cancer about 5 yrs later. He went through his bladder treatments at the same time I was going through mine. But he had to have his bladder removed and thank God he is doing well now. If you feel like chatting or have any questions at anytime dont hesitate on sending a message. I do find I feel better when I chat with others that have gone thru the samething.
