Austin Graduated!

Hi everyone!

I haven't been on here in a long time (probably at least a couple of

months). We've been really busy lately, but wanted to let everyone

know that my son, Austin graduated from the Starband last week. He

started at 15mm and is down to less than 1mm. The before and after

pictures look incredible. He started wearing the helmet at 7 months

and finished at 12 months (he wore it for 5 months). I have to say

the only problem we encountered with him wearing the helmet was a

minor rash that lasted only a couple of days on his forehead and he

would shrug his shoulders sometimes when wearing the helmet, but

nothing really major. My husband and I are soooo completely happy

that we chose to have our son wear this helmet. It really was a

tough decision for us in the beginning, but the end results are so

worth it. For those parents who are just beginning the helmet

process, I know it might seem really hard to have your son/daughter

wear this for however long, but just hang in there. It will go by so

fast and the results will make it worthwhile! I can't believe how

common the helmet is becoming! I see babies all the time at the

grocery store or wherever, and I felt like " I'm NOT ALONE! " Just

know that there are babies (and parents) going through the same

thing. I know that helped me along the way!

:)

Hi

Congratulations on Austin's graduation. It sounds like he got great

results. Did you post some pics in the photos sections? I would love

to see them. My dd wore her band for 5 mo too - it is a long time, but

so worth it.

I know some of you wanted to see Austin's before and after pictures,

but I tried posting them, but unfortunately, they won't post. The

pictures are on Adobe reader, and when I try to " Add it Now " it tells

me " unsupported image. " So, I'm really not sure how to do it. Maybe

someone can help me to upload it from Adobe????
