I went to CT in Charlotte and was very impressed with the results and situation. I was horribly unimpressed with Hanger but that was in Columbia, SC. But if you do a search through past messages for Charlotte you will see very recent conversations on the options in Charlotte. I believe ppl were not impressed with that Hanger either but several were impressed with and decided to use a place that uses the starband and that may very well also be covered for you, if not it is considerably cheaper. You can search through the messages to read about it. There are also dozens of ppl who have used charlotte CT as well and were all happy and that was mentioned in the conversations as well.

As for using multiple bands someone once posted that only a small percentage (they actually gave the #) needed a 2nd band. Yes it is a lot less likely in bands other than CT as CTs are considerably more lightweight so dont last as long (I believe it is 16 wks max) but they can also work slightly faster so you still may not need a 2nd. My son was severe (measurements of 15, 15 and 17 mm assymetry) and CT estimated they could get him down to an 8 with only 1 band which is on the high end of mild and that he wouldnt need treatment beyond that. They ended up doing better than that though, in 3 months they got him down to a 4, 5 and 6 mm assymetry and didnt recommend a 2nd band. I think he could probably still benefit from a 2nd but we have not pursued that furthur

We live in Charlotte, NC if anyone has had any experiences from this area. We found out that our insurance will cover if we go with Hanger, but not with Cranial Tech (CT). The insurance is really only informational...we will go with the group that will provide the BEST

for our daughter. Some anecdotal information I received suggested that CT will put your child in multiple bands, whereas Hanger will only use one (unless treatment continues longer than anticipated). Any experiences?

Thanks much for all you've shared. >> We personally have been seeing a doctor with Hanger. Since you
