Guest guest
Yes, the red spots should fade after one hour. Sometimes they may still be pink but shouldn't stay as red. You should call your ortho friday so you can fix it before the weekend if possible. If you put the helmet back on make sure the red spots aren't getting worse. As for sleeping, some kids take a week or two to get used to sleeping in their hat. It can be difficult, but most babies adjust. After the first two weeks it is usually a lot easier. -christine sydney 2yrs starband grad > > I am new to the group as my son got his Hanger band on Tuesday > afternoon. Guest guest
Since he's teething, I would try things to help with teething so its not a compounded issue (helmet, teething, etc.) The red spots should fade to pink with an hour or disappear completely. I'd try to get in today for another adjustment. Also, if your son is a tummy sleeper then there wouldn't be any added pressure on their head. My son became a tummy sleeper within days of getting the band and he still is a year later. > > > > I am new to the group as my son got his Hanger band on Tuesday > > afternoon.
