Guest guest
I would definitely make sure the band fits well before going on a trip. Also if it really is not fitting, ask them to make a new band for you. A few adjustments are normal at first, but by the end of a week or so it should fit well. Kids adjust well, especially if the band fits properly. We never convinced my daughter to sleep in her crib with it, but then she always preferred to cosleep anyway, so we went back to that. She wore it for 5 mo (longer than many babies) but got very good results and after the first few weeks it was really just part of our routine. -christine sydney 2 yrs starband grad > > I am new to the group. Guest guest
Hi - My son has the Hanger Helmet, and we have been back 3 times for adjustments on his forehead. I think this time we finally got it right. The red spots have gone away and he seems to not mind it as much. Don't get discouraged! Keep going back until they make it right. I don't think I would postpone your trip. The dr I am dealing with said if I was really worried about it over the weekend to leave it off and wait until he came in on Monday, but he said that unless the red spots were rubbing a raw spot on his head he thought it would be ok to let him keep wearing it. I would call your dr and see what they suggest. Kristi son Gunnar - 7 mos old Hanger Helmet 6 weeks > > I am new to the group.
