Guest guest
, I think the thyroid peroxidase antibody can be associated with either Graves or Hashimotos but I'm not positive. It may just be Hashis. Since you are hypoT though, I would say Hashimotos either way. I don't think you can be hypoT and have Graves, but do not quote me on that. I have not done research on it. I know you can swing back and forth between hyper and hypo with Hashimotos. I found this, I don't know if it will help much: http://www.labtestsonline.org/understanding/analytes/thyroid_antibodies/test ..html Rie A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort. Guest guest
Thanks! The link didnt go through though. I was diagnosed with Graves and had the RAI, so that makes sense. I dont think I swing from hypo to hyper based on symptoms, but ya never know I suppose. Either way antibodies are treated the same, right, just to get on an optimal dose of thyroid meds to make them go away, persay? Thanks again, resend that link, if you can, > > , > > I think the thyroid peroxidase antibody can be associated with either Graves > or Hashimotos but I'm not positive. It may just be Hashis.
