Nashville?

I am new here. My son Beck is 8 months old and just fitted with a

helmet a week ago. We go to Vanderbilt Children's Hospital to Dr.

. He referred us to Restorative Health Services for the

helmet. Has anyone dealt with this company? Or is anyone from the

Nashville area. Beck is adjusting to the helmet quiet well. He slept

through the night the past 2 nights. It seems a lot of you are banding

and just wondered if anyone was doing the route we are?

Hi Tonya,

There have been several RHS moms here recently. I think overall they

have been happy with the helmet, given the limited choices in the

area. If you look at messages online

(Plagiocephaly/)

you can search old messages for RHS and see what people say.

Thanks so much for your response. I will look back and see what I can find. We feel pretty good about it, since the dr referred us there. Thanks again.

I am from Lawrenceburg Tn originally. I have lived in Nashville 13 years. We saw on Wednesday. So far so good with the helmet. How is your experience going so far?

Do you mean MTSU? I went to Belmont. Write to me off line. I would love to talk more to a local person. My personal email is Tonyahaynes@.... Look forward to hearing from you. Beck is also teething. It makes it so difficult to know what the crying is about. With the helmet, I am always worried it is bothering him. But, most of the time it is his teeth as well. He is doing great with the helmet. I think I am seeing improvements already as well. Shoot me a line and let's maybe even get together.

Did you go to MT?We're pleased. We see little improvements every week. I think we're due for an adjustment (4 week appt Monday), b/c it's hitting that right ear again and sometimes rests on his eyebrows. His dry scalp is MUCH better. With our cool temps, he's not sweating much. Teething is a bigger worry right now than the helmet.How is your little one?> > > >> > > > I am new here. Hey! We are also in Nashville and go to the patterson or harding rd. office. My dtr. has been in her helmet for 6 months and we hope to graduate in the next month or two. She has done great with it!! She did so much better than I did at first. Her head has really changed. RHS has also been great. I would advice making your appts. early with Dr. . I don't think you have to wait as long if you go first thing. She also has had R. Tort and we have been going to PT at VCH since she was 10 weeks old, she just turned 1 on Saturday!!! The time in the helmet does actually go by really fast. I know the summer months are a little hot, but we still get outside a lot and just take it off when we go

Sorry I'm behind reading this.Our son is real easy going. We didn't have a lot of issues with the helmet. Just a 2 week bout of dryness. Other than that, we haven't had many problems.It amazes me all the people we see who had a relative in one.Hi to the lady we saw in Toys-r-us.
