HI ,

If they are taking a mold at the appointment, it sounds like they are

sending you to a single band provider (not giving you options). You

should call and ask what type of band they use, then do some research

on that band, and the office you'll be going to. I would call and ask

them the following -

what kind of band/helmet do they use

how much experience does the person doing the banding have

is it an active or a passive band

can they provide references of parents they've worked with

(preferably who's children were similar age and severity to Owen)...

You can ask some of these questions when you're there, but if they are

planning to do the mold that day you want to make sure this is who you

want to go with.
