Hi Amber, Your son's head looks almost identical to my sons. His flat spot was only on that one side.... We also tried repositioning, but the little booger just prefered the left side. We did go ahead and get the band at 6 months 1 week. Although, it wasn't easy for us- Within 3 weeks we saw a dramatic difference. We actually go today for a follow up appointment to see if he is ready to graduate. He has been in the band 6 weeks now. Just adding my two cents! Good luck in your decision!
