Guest guest
Well, Saw shrink, and she wrote for Cytomel. She is WILLING to look at Armour but right now feels more comfortable writing per lab results. I had printed some info from www.stopthethyroidmadness.com She is willing to read it, do some research. Now I've got a major headache, but I was honest with her and told her that I'll try the Cytomel, but if it doesn't work, I'll get Armour anyway I can. I did take in my bottles of Seriphos, my Rhodiola, and she was already familiar with Ashwaganda. She seems really concerned about me getting too much B-6, not sure why??? I'll post both my CanaryClub and the blood panel results in a little while, gonna try to get rid of a headache first. All Cytomel comments welcomed. Oh, she's writing for 5mg 1-2 per day.... I have a psych DX of ptsd and lots of anxiety and insomnia.... I'm also high cortisol. I like the lower dose because I didn't want to split tabs, but I'll bet that I need more than one dose per day. For some reason, even at this small dose, I'm scared to death to take it. Maybe I was just so pysched up about the Armour. Anyway, just in case, please send me the Armour non RX resources psalmist7 @ earthlink.net (no spaces) I CANNOT tell you all how thankful I am that you are here. kc in AZ

I can tell you from personal experience that doses over 100 mg/day may cause peripheral neuropathy in some. That's numbness/tingling in your hands/fingers. Mine resolved immediately after stopping the B6. I'm fine with 50 mg/day. Barb
Guest guest
KC the cytomel will nto hurt you especially in those tiny doses, but i is also unliekly to fix your hyothyroidism in that amoutn weither. I am on all T3 and take 150mcg daly. That is full replacement and I do take a higher dose than most need though. But it si a start. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/
Guest guest
Barb, Thank you, I have that happening at times, I'll monitor those symptoms, kept thinking it was a chiropractic issue. For now, I'm going to drop my b-12, 6, folic acid supplement. > She seems really concerned about me getting too > much B-6, not sure why??? Guest guest
I'll start low, but will ask her to ramp it up. I do have some heart rhythm problems so want to take it slow. Am super concerned about anxiety. While I'm really disappointed, she is at least willing to look at other options. kc
