Prednisolone not working after 1/8 grain increase

Stayed with just the 1/8 grain increase in the AM for yesterday and

did everything else exactly the same as I had done over the weekend

before I increased the Armour and after I started the pred. and was

sleeping straight through the night. I woke up after almost exactly

the same amount of time sleeping as I did the night before - sleeping

from 11PM to 3:45AM - and then woke up all of a sudden, with full

bladder, hungry and sweating. Laid there for 30 minutes before

getting up and stress-dosing 2.5mg of HC with a small piece of cheese

and was able to get back to sleep after about another 1/2 hour but

then woke up again an hour later and then just dozed until the alarm

went off.

I'm wiped out now and back already hurts sitting here at work. I have

a telephone consultation with my doc today and I'm obviously going to

ask him, but I haven't heard anyone speak of a doctor who knows how to

properly dose HC and or prednisolone yet. I've taken the pred between

8PM and 9:30PM. When I took it late I had a really hard time getting

up the next day so I moved it up to 8PM like Val had originally said

so that I would hopefully be able to get up for work. Increasing the

Armour has really thrown a monkey wrench in the works, but temps were

fine yesterday and I need to get the Armour up b/c I'm miserable.

Val, or anyone, do you have recommendations about how to dose this

stuff? Take it sooner, or later? The way it felt over the weekend,

it was almost as if I was getting most of the effect up to 12 hours

later with suppressed appetite, and being sleepy for the whole morning

and into the day. So that would lead me to believe that I should take

it even earlier like 6PM but what do I do for HC during the evening

then? Or am I taking it too early already by taking it 8PM which is

why it is running out overnight so I need to take it later, like 1/2

hour before bed. Based on my experience with HC I do seem to be a

fast metabolizer of HC so maybe I'm metabolizing the pred quickly too.
