Guest guest
An adrenal reaction would be the most pressing issue wiht raising it too fast, that and low Ferritin which cn stop you cold! Low ferritin reactions are horrible when you get too much thyroid that your body can;t use, so play it by feel. If you start gettign reactins slow it down, otherwise what oyu feel the first 2 days is the actual dose you are taking. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/
Guest guest
I know I sound like a dummy, but what reactions should I look for, and how can I tell if it's the ferritin or the adrenals?
Guest guest
The symptoms of low ferritin with thyroid are VERY similar to low cortilsl except can be even worse. Anxiety and fear, and nervous agitation along wiht pounding heart and a too fast pulse. You could differentiate with BP testing though if you are reacting due to low ferritin it would stress adrenals worse as well. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/

I'll know by Monday if it has come up any. I'm hoping for some kind of improvement! My hubby is stopping to pick up the BP monitor today. What would I look for in terms of blood pressure/pulse for low ferritin vs low cortisol? You are a wealth of information, Val. Thank you,
Guest guest
I am not sure that Ferritin would affect BP at all. But to determine low cortisl you need to first take BP sitting then immediately after standing up. It should rise at least 10 points if your adrenals are functioning properly. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/
