why do i have such a narrow window of med tolerance?

Every medication I take, whether it be psychiatric, or hormonal, (including

Cortef), either

makes me feel exhausted, or totally wired and anxious (or I feel absolutely

nothing). There is

never any middle ground. Many times, I'll feel nothing on a medication, and

then keep

raising the dose, only to the point of overstimulation, with no relief. What's

going on here?
