Guest guest
Wow, I didn't know this about dairy. I have had joint pain basically all my life but it has gotten miserable lately. So I'll have to try dairy free (no butter though?). I am already gluten free, and that has solved some of my problems. I've been taking the cortef for about 6 months now, thanks to this list, I'm stable on 25. I'm sleeping better, mood is better, female hormones working like they should (no hot flashes, cycling again, etc). My waking temps are still very low (96.7 - 97.2), so I'm thinking I need thyroid support. I am taking nutrimeds thyroid and I haven't noticed any change. I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's 20 years ago, but didn't have any antibodies with my last tests. I'm wondering if I should try to get armour or t3? Any opinions. Also, a source would be great if armour is suggested. I'm 42. Thanks. --------------------------------- Looking for last minute shopping deals? Find them fast with Yahoo! Search. Guest guest
Give it a good 3 weeks. If you currently use alot of dairy, you'll notice a difference just cutting way down, so minute amounts of butter probably won't make a difference (i.e. as ingredients in cookies for example). The biggies are cheese, ice cream, milk, and somewhat yogurt. good luck! Liz for your other questions, maybe post a new topic so others can help you > > Wow, I didn't know this about dairy. Guest guest
Does full-fat yogurt have less casein than " regular ol' Dannon " ? I somehow got the impression that full-fat might be cultured more, and perhaps the bateria break down the casein as well as the sugars. Would pouring off the whey cut down more?
