Having the infusion was just like getting an IV drip. I would have been fine, had I been checked on, so please dont let me scare you. You are going to feel soooo much better when you get your ferritin up. Also, if you are having heavy periods, you most likely need a regualar prescription dose of iron even after the infusion so you dont drop again.
