Guest guest
I feel like this is a stupid question, but I really can't decide! I'm too stressed to decide... First, I want to state that I STILL can't get up in the morning, even to get to the HC. I'm too out of it for an hour or more to get it. Grr. And night doses don't go over well, as I both can't sleep with the extra bit...or if I do, I wake up once it wears off and then can't sleep. So, I'd kinda rather not make either of these worse, if possible. I'm pretty sure HC needs to go up, but I'm not sure where to put the extra...one reason I've put it off! I've been at 32.5 mg for almost four weeks: 10, 7.5, 7.5, 5, 2.5, dosing every 3 hours. 10, 10, 7.5, 5, 2.5...or 10, 7.5, 7.5, 5, 5? Or...something else? It needs to stay five doses, as as it is, after 2 hours I'm having issues with anxiety and shaking, especially around the 3rd and 4th doses, but also with the fifth, and temps are generally lowest either morning or mid-day so.... I'm leaning somewhat toward the first. Temps have been dropping. My temps were raised for about 3 weeks from iron, and I haven't felt hypo until the past few days, when I've been getting some low temps thrown in. Until period hit, temps were looking pretty good (but still not stable). *Still* no doctor, so still not on any thyroid (and I actually start shaking and stuff just thinking about that...let alone actually calling--I don't even know how to bring adrenals up, or if I should factor that in). Here's some temps (a lot, as period whacked 'em out, and as I said, they've been slowly dropping): (This is temp1, temp2, temp3, ave, change) 98.0 98.4 98.0 98.1 0.07 (45 HC -- Shovelled snow...) 97.8 98.0 97.8 97.9 -0.27 97.8 97.8 98.0 97.9 0.00 97.6 97.6 96.6 97.3 -0.60 97.0 97.0 98.4 97.5 0.20 (45 HC -- Period, BP dropping) 97.6 97.0 98.0 97.5 0.07 97.0 97.8 96.8 97.2 -0.33 97.2 98.4 97.8 97.8 0.60 95.2 97.2 97.6 96.7 -1.13 97.6 97.4 98.4 97.8 1.13 (Period stopped) 97.2 97.4 97.2 97.3 -0.53 97.2 98.0 97.6 97.6 0.33 97.8 97.2 97.6 97.5 -0.07 96.6 96.8 97.6 97.0 -0.53 95.0 97.8 97.6 96.8 -0.20 95.0 96.8 98.4 96.7 -0.07 Starting with period, individual temps have gotten really spread out, and I've been feeling worse and worse, especially the last couple of days. Also, next time I'm thinking of stress dosing for the first 2-3 days, at least, instead of just the first day, maybe. Does that sound 'okay', and should I go higher than, basically, another 10 mg? I basically just stopped the bulk of the nausea/dizziness--ie, bare minimum, and I upped the 5th dose both of the days I did 45 mg to 5 mg. Guest guest
Your tempos are dropping as you are on a high dose of cortisoll and no thyroid support. That causes the thyroid your body does have to be used up vey quickly. BTW whenoyu send me temps oyu just need ot send the daily averages, not the whole days temps. How long hav yo been on this dosing regimen? What did your labs look like ot begin with? -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/
Guest guest
> > I am willing to bet if you add Florinef to this mix and lower HC you wil > feel alot better. Is your BP in the dirt as well? That sodium is VERY > low and I am surprised oyu are functional at all wiht that. Muscle > spasms? ALL would be low sodum. Florinef may help your fele better > supported when it si this low with the cortisol as well. Is the florinef something a doctor would give me based on the low sodium? I'm pretty sure I do need the florinef, but there is the issue of getting it, since I can't really show them my adrenal tests. Symptoms and temps (especially starting ones) are pretty much what I have to go by on that. And yes, my BP is low. It hasn't budged Last time I checked it it was 91/60, I think. It's staying roughly in that 90s/60s, and the bottom number has slowly been going down (top number may be going up (ie, I've gotten 98/60, whereas it used to be more 94/64). But, yeah, BP is in the dirt, with pulse in the 80s or low 90s most of the time (sitting), and no, the sea salt hasn't done anything for the pulse, either. And, yes, some muscle spasms, I suppose! I think the eye twitching is low thyroid (it stopped during the higher temps, and just came back a couple of days ago), but I'm also getting cramps/spasms in my feet (since I was in elementary school...not new!). Magnesium helps the ones in the toes, but not the eye twitching. I also have muscle spasms that go along with the adrenal pain/low cortisol symptoms. Right now they're gone most of the day, minus night/morning/when stressed. And, yes, it's very low. I don't avoid salt, either. I've not seen anyone else with sodium that low, although I haven't had a lot of time to really read on here much. Sodium was the lowest of all my electrolytes, and potassium was the highest (but still below midrange). And, honestly, I'm not sure I'd say I'm functional! I fake it, and have always stopped when I start feeling bad, making me 'uncooperative', because adults never believed anything I said (including doctors), and so I'd go right to the limit, and then more or less stop. I've done this since I was 6-7 years old, and have pretty much considered myself 'useless' because of it. I know I'm very, very dehydrated. I think the worst thing that could be sodium (or aldosterone) related is that my eyes are very sensitive to light(?). I've had a headache from this for 10 years, and is one of two reasons I can't work under normal lighting (I'm currently working from home)--and so I'm not really a part of normal society. Between that and my sun sensitivity (think allergy to UVA light, including fluorescents), I don't really get to leave the house much.
