Guest guest
Recently we have noticed bumps on the " buckle " side of both of my sons' heads. They have been in DOC bands for three weeks. They were just adjusted Friday and the tech apparently did not notice anything at that time. My babysitter and their physical therapist thought it was very concerning. I sometimes go almost 2 days without seeing them awake due to a strange work schedule. I called CT and they told me it is most likely fluid retention under the skin and that it would go away when they are out of their bands. They told me to keep their bands off tonight and see if it goes down by morning. Has anyone else had this happen and was it fluid? i don't want to fix one problem and create another. Thanks,
Guest guest
This question comes up quite a bit! I was very concerned about these bumps but from what you describe it is completely normal and does go away shortly after graduation. If you notice red marks that aren't fading then it is time for an adjustment. I would ask CT (I think every visit) about the bumps though SO if you are still concerned after getting responses here then I would definitely show CT and ask when you go in next. > > Recently we have noticed bumps on the " buckle " side of both of my sons' > heads. Guest guest
If you type in fluid retention in the search thing under messages it will take you to some replies on this very question. > > > > Recently we have noticed bumps on the " buckle " side of both of my > sons' > > heads.
