Guest guest
My saliva test was not terribly bad. I was experiencing horrible adrenalin rushes during the day only. I felt good in the evening. Cortisol 8AM 19 (13-24) 12:00 5 (5-10) 5PM 5 (3-8) Midnight 4 (1-4) As I said in the previous note, the adrenalin is much better now but not completely gone. I know that 40mg of HC is a high dose. I am on 7,1/2 gr or Thyroid-S & need to increase that to get my temps up to 98.6. I am close but not there yet. Guest guest
OK so here's my theory. Your cortisol isburingin uop all your thyroid and the thyroid is burning up all your cortisol You are in the vicious circle of needin higher and higher BOTH. but this doesn;t ever get you well. I suspect needing that high Thyroid-s that you have Thyroid resistnace & high RT3. This nblocks all but a small portion of your T3 from working so you need high doses of Thyroid-S to compensate which is causing you to need all this cortils to handle it. I would strongly urge you to either get RT3 testing or just do a trial of straight T3. >>8AM 19 (13-24) 12:00 5 (5-10) 5PM 5 (3-8) Midnight 4 (1-4) As I said in the previous note, the adrenalin is much better now but not completely gone. Guest guest
Gosh Val, This is a vicious circle! LOL I just finished switching back to Thyroid-S from 6 months on Cynomel only. Before Cynomel I was on 7,1/2 gr of Thyroid-S. Then I switched to Cynomel & worked up as high as 225 mcg. At that time I did the saliva testing. Then I started the task of switching back to the Thyroid-S. About midway through the switch I started HC. I feel like I am very close, just not there yet. Guest guest
How long have you held the raises of Thyroid-S? I am asking as I just did saliva labs and found my T3 was through the roof and I did nto have a symptoms of high thyroid. Not onE! Now I am switching back to Armoru and had some breif diarrhea and dropped 50mcg of T3 and it stoipped.. That is a whole lot of T3 to not feel it being too high except for the diarrhea. Sounds liek you & I aer on the same roller coaster and I hate it! I have been at this thyroid juggle this time for abotu 11 years and it si getting very old. but I find as I am lowering the thyroid and switching at the same time, my HC needs are dropping as well. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/
Guest guest
Wow Val, We really do seem to be on the same path. When I first started switching back to Thyroid-S I started on 3gr & 125 Cynomel. I just kept adding Thyroid S & dropping the T3. I have now been on the full 7grain for 8 weeks. My temps are still averaging 98.2-98.4, once a week they average 98.5. As you are making the switch back to Thyroid-S are your temps still at 98.6? Guest guest
Yes but I have been just doing this switch for 2 weeks and now at 2 grains and 75mcg T3 tempos are still holding. You might try lowering the thyroid whiel lowering the HC and see if tem0sp go up down or stay the same. If they go up or stay the same you knwo you are in this same position. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/

I felt good in the evening. Can you please describe what this feels like? I too only feel good (for some value of good) in the evening and am wondering if it is adrenalin that's going on - and I'm on 35mg HC. Guest guest
Rosie, The adrenalin feels like someone comes from behind & scares me unexpectedly. I had it horribly before starting HC. Maybe 100 times a day. Now it is only every few days that I experience the adrenalin at all & it is much less intense. Gale > > > > My saliva test was not terribly bad. Guest guest
Sorry to but in but Val I jusst read where you are making the switch back to Armour??? Weren't you doing great on Cytomel? Please please tell me all about it.....as this is something I've been contemplating once I finish weaning from the HC. How high was your ft3? Mine was also high, but you said since I was feeling great and with great temps to not pay that much attention to it. Do you now feel it could be dangerous? Thanks, Naffy > > How long have you held the raises of Thyroid-S? I am asking as I just > did saliva labs and found my T3 was through the roof and I did nto have > a symptoms of high thyroid. Guest guest
>>But Val, how can you know your morning cortisol is okay if you are still taking HC? I thought we couldn't count on saliva tests while on HC?<< By my glucose! My Dawn rise used to be 90-150 point on my meter when my cortisl wa high. It is now barely 20 poitns. Thsi is a HUGE difference. I sometimes don't even need extra insulin ot cover my Dawn Rise, which means my cortisol is pretty near normal in the mornings. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/
