Guest guest Posted February 13, 2008 Report Share Posted February 13, 2008 I have just noticed that some ear drops I have used recently also had 1% hc, but I assume that the quantity going in each ear would not amount to enough hc to change my normal doses? Also some anusol suppositories , where each suppository has hydrocortisone acetate Ph Eur 10mg - would I need to change my normal hc if I use these, and would they be absorbed as well as normal meds , or better than etc? Guest guest Posted February 13, 2008 Report Share Posted February 13, 2008 Well 1% HC cream contains 10mg HC per 1/4 tsp, so you will have to figure out how much HC isd in how much ear drops. Amazing how easily these are handed out at doctors but ask for a script for HC and they lok at you like you are green!
