Guest guest
Hi, Carmela, Glad to hear your throat is better. I'm more inclined to think that the dosage of pred. is helping more then the valuim. 2 mgs. of valuim is not very much. At that level it is only a mild muscle relaxant. Which is what it was originally made to be. The side effect of helping with anxiety is a bonus, but was heavily abused in the late 60's and 70's. But that was at dosages higher the 50 mgs.. With my tracheal problems, I'm on 5 mgs. daily and it really does help. But the pred. and antibolitics and anti-inflammatory help more. Hope your CT goes well. Love R. Guest guest
Hi Sorry, my computer messed up and don't know if you received my reply, here goes again. Thanks for the info...My throat was feeling a lot better this past weekend, no symptoms at all.. but started again this Tues. I'm still on 50 mg of pred and plan to stay there for a few more days and will only taper off if feeling better. I've also added Vioxx to the regimen, I hope it helps. I haven't started with the Minocin yet, because I stil don't have the lactobacillus tablets to take with it. but I also take Xenical and don't know if it will interfere with the Minocin and lacto... I have to call the Xenical hotline and find out... I know that I'm in denial about the RP affecting my trachea... I'm gonna have to deal with it...I'm anxious to have my CT scan.. we shall see! luv you Carmela ************************* > >Reply-To: Rpolychondritis (AT) e >To: Rpolychondritis (AT) e> >Subject: throat and valuim >Date: Tue, 19 Dec 2000 10:22:48 -0700 > >Hi, Carmela, Glad to hear your throat is better.
