Hi Val,

This is day 2 for me of 1/4 tab of florinef. On my first day of florinef, I

cut back on the salt (1-2 tsps) and licorice I was taking and felt pretty bad:

shakey and sort of out of it. I'm wondering if I cut back too much on the

salt/licorice, and should keep on that dose until the florinef kicks in? Maybe

til I hit 1/2 tab?

Thanks,

Dahlia

>>Thanks for sending the link, I see I'm way too low. Not sure what to

do next since doc thinks this is normal. Am no longer taking licorice

as it bloated me up...won't florinef do the same?<<

Florinef works differnt than Licorice and salt. It works wiht salt, but not the

same as.

>>Also, would low aldosterone make it difficult for me to tolerate armour?<<

YEs as it is apart of th adrenal problem oyu need to correct.

>>And, would 35 mg hc lower aldosterone levels? Would aldosterone come

up if I lowered hc?<<

For some people HC lowers aldosterone alot, others not at all, so it is

impossible ot know. But Usually not so much.

Should I always be keeping the salt up, or just til the florinef starts

kicking in? I've read before that you need the salt for the florinef to

work...how does this work? I'll cut slowly back on the licorice. I'm

definitely retaining fluid.
