Guest guest
Val I mentioned yesterday to you about feeling nervous and shaky. I bowled my league last nite, stress dosed as you have suggested. I felt alot weaker than I had the week before (of course had bad tooth). But this morning felt tired, took my morning meds, 10mg HC and 30mg Armour. Laid down on couch, pretty soon neck was hurting, legs were bothering me. Felt weak when I got up, my arms feel heavy like lead, just feel weak and shaky. Still got some headache.. Got any ideas of what is going on..... You mentioned low cortisol and low maganesium yesterday.... My meds are as follows: HC...10-10-7.6-5 T3...12.5 twice daily now Armour...30mg twice daily now. My rT3 was very low, way below window on last bloodtest.
Guest guest
How long have you been on the Armour? Time for a raise? Are your temps low? BP? -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/
Guest guest
I started the Armour and T3 together on Feb 13 when we found out that the RT3 was low. My temps are not low...they are the last few days: 98.4...98.7...98.4...98.5 My highest BP each day: Feb 12....161/81 p 64 Feb 13....161/93 p 55 (at docs it was 180 over something) Feb 14....180/86 p 60 Feb 15....161/98 p 56 (after bowling-172/81, waited 5 min 158/84) Today....161/86 p 55 after 5 min 150/84 Doc had me take my BP in morning and evening on the 13th because of being so high. What causes the diastolic to go up so much, mine use to be low. And I notice when I wait 5 min the diastolic is a little higher.... I am feeling better right now than I did this morning, but still slight headache & neckache.... > How long have you been on the Armour? Time for a raise? Are your temps > low? Guest guest
Is the BP med for BP only or chest pain too? Mayb eit is causing side effects though from a quick search I CAN'T FIND ANY. i WOULD ALSO BE TAKING cO q 10 AS it also helps heart function and BP. Magnesium also helps lower BP. 400-600 mg daily . -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/
Guest guest
Ok Val will take what you say. But at 4pm when I took my HC and Armour, I started feeling weak and shaky inside some, it lasted for awhile. What does this mean, HC or Armour? I will check later tonite for your answer as I am going to see sisterinlaw in hospital with pneumonia. Thanks for all your help > Is the BP med for BP only or chest pain too? Guest guest
If the shakiness starts 2+ hours after the HC dose then oyu need smaller doses more often. It is lowering your ACTH too much and leaving you out of cortisl too quickly. These stages are susually pretty quickly passed through but taking the smaller doses more often help. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/

Actuallly it started within maybe an hour after I took HC and Armour or a little passed. And yes it passes after awhile but I still feel nervous inside, not shaky. Thanks for your help, will start tomorrow after I hear from you on the best way to do it. You are a lifesaver girl, luv you..God Bless > If the shakiness starts 2+ hours after the HC dose then oyu need smaller > doses more often. Guest guest
>> But one thing I noticed that my BP has dropped this afternoon to what it was when I got up this morning, 170/90 and then it went to 154/79 in just a few hours. Does that mean it has cut some of my stress to my body and lowered BP???<< Sure sounds liek it. >>I noticed that my pulse is staying in the 58 to 52 since I have been on my BP Diltizem 180 mgs twice a day....I read it can lower heart rate..COULD THIS BE A PROBLEM????<< Well 52 is quite low, and shows how truly hypo you are, btu I do nto think it is dangerous, though you WILL feel weak wiht no more oxygen than that is pumping. Perhaps a call to your doctor to ask about the very low pulse might be in order? -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/

Tonite I was laying in bed doing my bible study, got real exited about something I had read, my heart jumped up into my throat as it always does, but this time it stayed hurting and started beating real fast again. I grabbed my BP machine and started monitoring. BP got high, highest heart rate was 150, then kept dropping, took quite awhile to get comfortable. Is this my thyroid again??? I had this one other time walking in the house and that is what you came to the conclusion it was. My temps are as follows starting with today: 98.6...98.4...98.4...98.5..98.5...98.4 I am trying to wean off of T3 to Armour....last nite I woke up about 2 to go to the bathroom, my head and neck were hurting, got quite bad by 3:30.....also I have had low heart rate the last 2 days, some 45- 49...doctor has taken me off my BP med for 24 hr starting tomorrow; only took one today....I was on 180mg of dilteazem until Feb 13 she upped it to twice a day because my BP had gone up quite a bit What needs to be done if anything???UP T3 a little cause you said I had to be on the Armour 2 weeks before I could add more of it...
