google D-Ribose and L-Glutamine.

D-Ribose especially is good if you take it before workouts...gives you a whole

lotta energy.

WS

P.S : what did you eat before your workout?

I had some chocolate, but it seems to always happen. Although I

think the chocolate made it worse.

Pre-workout and post-workout nutrition is very important for many

reasons. your blood sugar is probably going nuts and making you

jittery. first are you drinking plenty of water? if not drink up, you

need to be well hydrated, not drinking enough water will make you feel

sick and shaky as well.

Fuel up before a workout, about an hour or so before you exercise

have about 24 -30 grams of protein, such as whey protein powder, add a

good carb source like berries , blend it up and drink. for postwork

fuel another protein shake is a fast way to get nutrients to your

muscles. if you have food within a 30 minute time frame after a

workout that will give you energy for the next time you exercise. stop

eating the chocolate before exercise, it may be spiking your blood

sugar and that could also be causing the jitters.

I agree with Cherie! I remember, back in the day, about 6 months ago

when my adrenals started their descent and I recall getting really

BEAT and lightheaded after working out and feeling like I was going to

fall over. I thought I had low blood sugar. Now, 6 months later, witha

diagnosis of adrenal fatigue and hypo, I am totally incapacitated. I

have not worked out in 4 months. I can walk about 25 minutes and that

is IT. I realized I needed to rest my body in order to recuperate my

adrenals. I am just now starting treatment so I'm hoping to add walks

back into my schedule, but slowly, as I heal. I used to be active -

mountain biked, rock climbed, snowboarded, yoga - and now - at 30, can

do none of it. It is depressing, but I PRAY and hope that all will

heal with time.

Maybe your body is telling you to slow down too.
