Guest guest
We're using the cream b/c the ointment is greasy - I tried it and it doesn't rub in like the cream does. I also tried gel and didn't feel like I got enough cortisol from it. > > Are people using the OTC HC cream actually or the ointment? I think > there are 2 forms, isn't there? Guest guest
Yabut - You cannot just slather it all over. It needs measured. If your cream is 1%, that is it. 1/4 tsp = 10mg hydrocortisone. >>>I have eczema so If I get some cream for it with hc in it will help my adrenals? How cool that would be
Guest guest
Mine just is Equate Hydrocortisone 1% cream from wally-is eating-the- world I have also used Kroger brand Hydrocortisone cream 1% from the local grocery store. And yes, it is the exact same cream used for eczema, etc. I don't use the Cortaid or Cortizone brands because of they are considerably more expensive. sol blondiethefirstuk wrote: > Is this the ordinary hc cream you use to treat ezcema or is it > something else like the progesterone creams? Guest guest
What is the 'normal' amount to put on? 1/4 tsp or 1/2/ Trial and error? Guest guest
Normal amounts ot use depend on the dose of HC you are replacing wiht it. It is POTENT! 1/4 tsp 1% HC cream contains 10MG HC. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/
