Guest guest
The rest of my labs came in and I don't know if they indicate that I would benefit from florinef or not. I am using about a tsp/day of sea salt, sometimes a little more, but at a tsp like I had today I do retain water in my hands. Aldosterone: 8 (4-31) Plasma renin: 6.3 (non-hypertensive adults, upright .65 - 5) Previous labs from October when I drank salt water on the way to get the tests were: Aldosterone: 9.1 (4-31) Renin: 3.9 (it doesn't say anything about plasma - different lab .5 - 4) So, now, my aldosterone is low-normal and my renin is high-normal? What does that mean? TIA,

Guest guest
Thanks Val. Is there a reference for how to interpret those that that I can share with my doc that will lead him to the same conclusion - he's been pretty good about writing scripts, but he was more interested in talking about adaptogens than he was florinef when I saw him. If I were to go on florinef would I probably end up reducing HC? Thanks. > > >>So, now, my aldosterone is low-normal and my renin is high-normal? > What does that mean?<< > > With renin that high it means your body is asking for more aldosterone and not gettiung it, You would benefit from Florinef. > > -- > Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV > > http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ > http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ > http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ >
