Guest guest
Val, You answered a post I had a week ago or so saying I might have more than adrenal fatigue and should get an ACTH Stim test. I am having a problem getting my Dr to do the test but I am working on it. In the mean time I was wondering if I should stop my armour until I get my adrenal situation figured out. I have read Dr wilson's book and have done Dr Rind's temperature tests, I am all over the board for a week with a low average of 97.1 to a high average of 98.5. When I do the pupil test my pupil will not stay constricted, it flutters trying to stay that way. I am positve I have some sort of adrenal issues but hard to differentiate as the sysmptoms are for both hyppothyroid and adrenal fatigue. I am hoping I can do an ACTH Stim test in 5 weeks when I have an appt with my Dr. I have been on armour 60mg for a week. The first 4 or 5 days were fine but the last two I have felt anxious, could not sleep, my heart rate increased, sweating at night, hot, heart palpitations. I was dx with hashi and hypothyroid. I read that this reaction could be because my low adrenals are not allowing the armour to work. Would it be better if I stopped armour until I try to support the adrenals or is this a normal reaction to someone first starting armour. I wish I would have learned about adrenal fatigue and read Dr. s book before I went to my Dr the first time so I could have treated it the correct way by dx my adrenals first but that is hindsight. I will post my labs again for you to reference. Thanks for your help with this post and all the others that I have read from everyone on this site. I am a 31 year old healthy maled other the Hashi and Hypothyroid. P.S do you have any suggestions if I can not get the Dr. to do an ACTH Stim test. I have already been through 3 trying to find a Dr that would listen to me and not my tests.
