Guest guest
thanks for the advice. Today I felt hypoglycemic all day! And starving all day, even though I ate plenty! I'm also about to start my period- that could be part of it. Can I ask how far apart your dosages were? Do you think I should add another dosage and have 4 during the day? I feel like maybe my dosages are too far apart. I have to be at work by 8 so it makes for a long day. thanks in advance... lexie > > I felt this way after I'd been on the HC for about a week. My body was asking for more HC. I think at that time I was taking 10-5.... I added 2.5 and 2.5 in my dosage schedule and quit feeling dizzy. Then I started feeling hypoglacimci around midnight. So I upped to 10-5-5-5. rie A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort. Guest guest
I dose about every 4 hours. Basically, I dose at 8am, noon, 4pm, and 9pm. Hypolycemia is a symptom of low cortisol. Remind me again how you are dosing? You can certainly try putting your doses a bit closer together. Are you taking thyroid meds right now? If you are, the best way to increase is to use the ramp up schedule in the files. Rie A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort. Guest guest
Hi Lexie, Sorry, I just saw this e-mail after I sent my reply. It could be a thyroid dump, but it sounds more like low cortisol to me. You could try adding 2.5mg at bedtime and see what it does, taking the rest during the day may have lowered the nighttime level. Or you could up your morning dose to 10mg. I wouldn't do both at the same time though. Val, please chime in here if I'm giving bad advice! Here is a link to the ramp up schedule: http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/files/Ho w%20to%20Treat%20Low%20Cortisol/ One of the important things is to go slow when adding HC especially when you are already taking thyroid!
