Guest guest
Hi Barb, no doubt that part of my problem was an increase in stress b/c I knew that I had to tell my boss that I was taking another job this morning, but that doesn't explain the night before or the dizzy all day on Monday when I wasn't working, although I did have a lot of errands to do. I pushed my pred back an hour but didn't change the dose yet - trying not to change too many things at a time. Meanwhile, I haven't made a move on my Armour dose for like 3 weeks and check out my temps going back to when I backed out my failed 1/4 grain increase and inclusive of today: 98.12 98.03 98.08 97.90 97.82 98.10 98.03 98.07 98.18 98.05 98.07 98.07 98.20 98.17 Judging by temps and symptoms, I'm ready to go up and I was going to until the sleep issues crept back in over the past two nights. I'm literally afraid to increase Armour at this point because of what I expect it to do to my sleep, but I need to add that 1/8 at bed-time and soon - I'll never get the adrenals healed until I optimize Armour and I'm not there. I also got my troches on the way home from work so I'm trying to figure out how to use them. I guess that I should be safe and swap out one dose at a time so I was thinking about starting with the morning dose. > > It still troubles me that you can't get up. Guest guest
It might if you were already thinking about it. Your stress level could have been higher dreading it. As for Monday, I finally decided the dizzy spells I was having were from stressful situations using up extra cortisol and me not stress dosing. Kind of a delayed reaction though. It wouldn't happen until the next day or so. For instance, yesterday was a busy day (Mondays always are) but nothing unusal so I didn't stress dose. Today I have felt like total crap. Energy almost into the negatives. I'm thinking this is a reaction from yesterday on top of recovering from the flu. I don't feel sick anymore, but I'm betting yesterday used up whatever pitiful reserves I might have built up. I don't know if this theory would apply to you or not though. :-) Rie A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort. Guest guest
Sounds like how I felt yesterday after not sleeping well Sunday or Monday and probably trying to do too much on Monday, my " day off " like I have done every Monday. Still, I woke up again this morning at 5:30, sweating, although not bad, and without the stomach ache so I didn't eat or take HC. Something is just not right with my dosing and never has been and pred, at least in the one dose, has not been the answer so far. Thanks Cherie. > > It might if you were already thinking about it.
