Guest guest
Dear i had a morning adrenal test done which showed i was at the top ed of the range in the morning. salivary cortisol 23.1 ref: 12.0 to 33.0 salivary DHEA sulphate: 16.5 ref: 8.0 to 24.0 My adrenals are week. i am slightly aneamic. I have also been told im not absorbing iron and iodine. I tried taking 12.5mcg of t3 with my t4 and did not sleep. Jerky movements on anight time. Stopped taking it and slept better. I cannot take hydrocostisone as it does my stomach in. I am trying detoxing the whole sytem. going back to basics to see how i get on. i guess i just needed some help with what levels i should be looking at with my t4. Armour is something i need to start on again once m adrenals have been treated. Has anybody ever tried acupuncture for their adrenals? Yasmin wrote: Have you had adrenal testing? If adrenals are OK you can go back on Armour. It takes T4 4-6 weeks to build up in the system to actually do anything for you, but Armour has T3 in it which works the same day you take it, but if your adrneas are weak it can cause the symptoms you were having of sleeplessness and agitation, so you may need adrenal support before restarting it. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ --------------------------------- Sent from Yahoo! & #45; a smarter inbox. It is MID range and that is WAY not good enough for the first thing in the AM. Have you considered HC cream? You REALLY need mor cortiosl than this in the AM to tolerate Armour. With this lab's ranges, 30-33 would be good for the AM. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/
