Guest guest
Oh and I meant to add I've been having tests to check for diabetes..been having symptoms.Could taking HC in a physiologic dose aggravate my symptoms/affect any future blood tests on blood sugar? Scared myself reading the list of cautions with Cortef. It mentions uncovering latent diabetes. Also Armour is supposed to affect blood sugar..I assume they mean bringing it up. Thanks > > > > > I would try ramoing up to no mroe than 20MG and holding it there > while > > you work the Armour up. How ffast was your pulse? Guest guest
Physiological doses of HC will not cause Diabetes, it MAY uncover it if it is already present. Lo thyroid cuses insulin resistance, so doe slwo sex hormones. LOW cortils as well as high cortils causes glucose problems. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/
Guest guest
OK the 100's are not normal but 80's can certainly be unless you are quite athletic and in good shape. Periodic higher pulses happen to EVERYONE, it is prolonged high pulse (120+) that is a danger and would show high thyroid. Drink coffee? I lowered my pulse by 30+ points overall by going to half decaf. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/
Guest guest
Does low thyroid/ hi or low cortisol causes these things described below.... does this also cause heart failure? And is that the breathlessness or air hunger some here describe. -- Re: Advice Needed! Physiological doses of HC will not cause Diabetes, it MAY uncover it if It is already present. Guest guest
The nreathlessness is usually form low oxygen from poor lung capacity and slwo heart beat from hypothyroidism. It CAN if let go ,long term lead to heart dosease and Congestive Heart Failure. I had that and was given 2 years to live.. 13 years ago! In other words it is reversible if you treat the thyroid correctly. Low cortilsl can cause these symptoms as enough cortisol is needed for the thyroid yto enbter the cells to work, an wihtout enough cortils you cna become even more hypo. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/
