Guest guest
FIRST it is HIGHLY unlikely that progesterone is converting to estrogen. Is your DHEA high? It has to go through conversion to DHEA to be converted to estrogen. It is a whole lot more likley that in your converting process of T4 to Armour you just SIMPLY went more hypothyroid. 200MG is ALOT of T4. Proabbyl equivalent to 3+ grains of Armour. If you are takking progesterone and your estrogen is low you are further unbalancing things. our estrogen also looks low to me for being on HRT and your testosterone is in the dirt and may well give you some better energy and HELP the htyroid work better to improve metabolism. I really wish people that do nto understand the adrenal hormones conversions woudl stop giving bad advice. Progesterine is usually very helpful IF IYOU NEED it with thyroid treatment. But i think the fact that you are on an overall lower dose of thyroid meds NO ONE has even looked at. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/

I am sorry to be such a pest about all this...I am really confused. Can you please explain to me what you would do if you were me? Get Armour up to 3+ grains, then work on sex hrt? Keep going with sex HRT, but add testosterone? Add more estrogen? My DHEA 7 (Normal): Adults (M/F):3-10ng/ml on my saliva testing in January and 195 in my blood testing (was told it was in Normal range before I knew I should GET the range!) Dec. Do those numbers look ok? Thanks!
Guest guest
Your DHEA is fine, I would start a low dose testosterone and possibly increase your estrogen a tiny bit wile continuing wiht progesterone., Theh slowly built the thyroid up and expect to feel more energy as the hypo is corrected. Onc your temps are stable at 98.6 then you can retest the sex hormones ot see what needs tweaking there but you should be more than half way there by then. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/

I am going to start the testosterone today (which is what my gut said, too) and make myself keep a journal to track my progress. Thanks again!
