Re: Where to apply HC cream?

Does it matter where you apply HC cream? I wonder if different

absorption rates occur at different areas? For example, a

transdermal antidepressant patch called Ensam is supposed to be put

on the shoulder or arm. I'm sure there was some research into the

best places to apply that patch. I wonder if you put HC cream on the

arm, the calf, the tummy, or whatever, if it makes a difference in

how much is absorbed.

As a sidenote, my doctor told me to try HC cream to lower the

swelling on some longtime dormant boils on my butt that flare up but

never open. I asked if the HC would absorb into my system. He said

no. Well, I swabbed a bunch on. Maybe a 1/2 teaspoon. I swear a

couple hours later my heart was pounding and I had some significant

anxiety. It did not help the boils at all, actually made them flare

up even worse. But I did get the real sense that the stuff did

indeed soak in. Also strange was that after the anxiety abated I

felt a hint of less depressed than usual and more calm than usual.
