The weather recently has been glorious in Melbourne - so out come the

lighter springtime clothes. Last summer I bought myself a short floral

skirt to the knee (no not above it) and when I first wore it my son mimicked

Mmmm short skirts are back Mum (the Special K ad). Stirrer.

Recently his girlfriend returned from an overseas trip and has gained

5 kilos which is noticeable as she is not very tall. When she was over for

dinner the other night my MM son was teasing her and said even

my Mum looks better than you ? Great ! Eventhough I was flattered I feel

like the bitchy motherinlaw from hell. LOL.

Yeah right as if a 46yr old - 75kg woman compares with a 22 size 12 !!!

I just thought I would share this little bit of flattery with my ozband

friends - because sometimes you wonder if anyone notices especially when you

have a household of mere males.

Oh and don't worry about my son causing any kind of pressure or anorexia to

his girlfriend - we are european and everything is focused on food - so

there is no chance of that. However, it was nice sharing a salad and

chicken with her - then she bought over a Sara Lee LIGHT choc cake - no no

no - must read fat content! She's still learning.

Nice compliment from your son but I hope you slapped him hard for doing that

to his girlfriend!
