Guest guest
a, That has helped me with heart issues. When I was having problems Nick had suggested taking smaller doses closer together ie. 6.25 mcg every 2 hours instead of 12.5 every 4 hours. I also cut caffeine out and that helped my heart issues. Hope this helps. Beth To: RT3_T3 Sent: Sat, May 1, 2010 2:13:45 PMSubject: Re: Do I need to go back to Cytomel? Is there a possibility that the heart rate won't be affected as much if I take the Cytomel in 6.25 mcg increments versus 12.5 mcg increments? Thanks,a> > > > >> > >Do you think it would be best to just go back to Cytomel without Armour and if so, how much would you take? > > > > Firstly the new formulation of Armour has given a lot of people> > trouble, it might be worth trying Erfa if you want to go to natural.> > > > Your FT3 is slipping down, I suspect from those labs that too much of> > your T4 is going to reverse T3 and as you suspect you may be better> > off staying on T3 only.> > > > How do you feel on Natural compared with the T3??> > > > If you wanted to swap back then the immediate swap would be to 50mcg> > and then increase the T3 as the T4 decays.> > > > How have you felt through this?? the general view is that people need> > a slightly over range FT3 to feel best on natural or T3 only.> > > > Nick> > > > -- > > > > for more information on RT3 and Thyroid Resistance go to > > > > www.thyroid- rt3.com> >>
Guest guest
Thanks Beth I appreciate the reply. I did a little experiment this morning. I just got some saliva test results and it showed that my morning cortisol is pretty low (8 AM that is - midnight and 4 Am are high). I just got off HC in March so still had some 5 mg HC tablets. When I first got up and was getting some water, my meds, etc. my heart rate was hovering between 115 and 125 and I felt like I needed to sit down. I took 10 mg HC and within about 20 minutes my heart rate (walking around) dropped to about 75. Amazing! > > > > > > > > > > >Do you think it would be best to just go back to Cytomel without Armour and if so, how much would you take? > > > > > > Firstly the new formulation of Armour has given a lot of people > > > trouble, it might be worth trying Erfa if you want to go to natural. > > > > > > Your FT3 is slipping down, I suspect from those labs that too much of > > > your T4 is going to reverse T3 and as you suspect you may be better > > > off staying on T3 only. > > > > > > How do you feel on Natural compared with the T3?? > > > > > > If you wanted to swap back then the immediate swap would be to 50mcg > > > and then increase the T3 as the T4 decays. > > > > > > How have you felt through this?? the general view is that people need > > > a slightly over range FT3 to feel best on natural or T3 only. > > > > > > Nick > > > > > > -- > > > > > > for more information on RT3 and Thyroid Resistance go to > > > > > > www.thyroid- rt3.com > > > > > >
