I also read in the book by Brownstein that >T3 clears the body rapidly, so if you did increase too quickly would you >know it right away or does it build up and hit you like a Mack truck? I >don't want to mess up now that I have finally made the bold move to switch. We always recommend taking it cautiously, I overshot for a day when I started as I felt less straight after taking T3 than I used to feel taking Natural. My working theory is that I was so resistant to T3 that I was feeling a kick from the T2 in the natural. Generally T3 will stabilize in the body 3 days after a small increase. Over a week or so the T4 levels in the body will sink and cancel that increase out. If you are feeling hypo then you can increase at 3 day intervals to clear then hypo symptoms and then go over to weekly intervals. Most people won't feel the starting dose, it's only as it increases they feel the effect. As some people are more sensitive than " most people " then starting low and edging up looking for symptoms is the safest way to suggest it. I hope these rambles make sense.
