Does anyone see a difference? ----- Forwarded Message ----From: marcyeiseman <marcyeiseman@...>Plagiocephaly Sent: Saturday, April 19, 2008 11:26:29 AMSubject: GRETA Hey Guys! Its been awhile since my last post...I have been putting Greta on her back to sleep at night, and she takes her naps during the day on her belly...I have noticed improvement! I had an appt with the CT place in NJ, but I spoke to one of the Tech's there and she told me that if Greta's head is improving, I dont really need to come in until there is no change, or a platau..or if I really feel that it needs to be corrected. As of right now I am satisfied with the improvement. ..As long as her face does not get affected, then I am ok with her head shape the way it is. If it does not keep on improving, I might take her in jsut to get an evaluation to see how assymetric her head actually is! Take a peek and tell me what you think...I cant believe how much it has already changed-lets hope that it keeps on improving! I hope everyone is doing well! HAPPY SPRING YAY! Guest guest
Hi Marcy: I copy and pasted the bird's eye view picture from March 26th and the one you just posted (april 19th) in a word document so I could see them together. There is a change on the right flat side -- it's rounded a bit, and the back of the head is not so pointed. It looks like on the left side there hasn't been as much change, and looks like the temples are still pinched a bit -- but the bottom line is what were the problem areas for you, and what you see and are happy with. The pictures aren't quite the same size, but it doesn't look like the length has changed much, but the length isn't as much as a problem if she is able to lay back and be able to look around, etc. and not have her chin push to her chest. Overall I'd say you've done a fine job of repositioning, and if you keep it up you should get the results you are looking for. It wouldn't hurt to go to CT to get evaluated (since it's free), they can at least give you the measurements so you have something to gauge her progress. hope this helps. tracy -- GRETA Hey Guys!
