Guest guest
I'm sorry your dr didn;t listen to you. WE repeatedly had the same thing happen. But Ours was from the ped AND the craniofacial drs. It wasn't until I threated to take her "out of network" that they suddenly acknowledged the problem and wrote the script. If you have a band provider in your area - go and get an eval - CT does them for free - Then armed with that info you can go see your ped again - or see a Craniofacial dr. They can also write a script. Like I wrote earlier, you have to listen to your gut - and do what you can for your baby. We have really worked with her for 2 full weeks now on repo & stretching exercises that we thought we would help, & she has had major improvement with her right sided tort. My husband explained to her Pediatrician that we had been doing the exercises & we weren't sure if what we were doing was correct, as we have never received professional instruction & he said "well what you are doing is definetly working, we don't need Physical therapy or anything". My husband then said well take a look at the assymetry on the right side of the face and the Doc said "well you are right" then no joke, completely changed the subject. And that's all we got! He did say her head shape was fine & 95% of babies with these issues get correction from repo. I have no idea where to go from here now! & Kaylie 4 1/2 months Planning your summer road trip?
