Guest guest
Hi everyone. I am hoping to find someone who has a similar story or at less find someone who can shed some light on my situation. According to labs I am hypo with a bad rT3 problem (ratio 6). I am currently trying to clear rT3. Taking about 100mcg of t3 and on week 12. It seems to me that t3 DOES'T influence my temps. I can be taking 30mcg or 100mcg and my temps only change according to my menstrual cycle. My life is great the moment I start my period. My temps drop, yes they drop, and I feel better. They go down to high 97's or 98ish. This is the time of the month were I feel good. I feel good in my body, I function better mentally, I can get things done and have a smile on my face the whole time. I even run better! But the minute I ovulate all hell breaks loose. I suffer though runs. I am not as nice to my family and everything that needs to be done seems so much harder. However, my temps are alot closer to 98.6 , but for some reason I feel worse. (one other very weird thing is during this time leading up to my period it hurts to pee. it's like a burning of the urethra. it last awhile, hour or so after peeing. this only happens a few days before period. it's not a bladder infection) So what is influencing my temps during this time? I had progesterone and estrogen checked. They seem to ok-no big warning sign. I will do a cortisol test this month. Does anyone with high cortisol and have these problems? My hair sheds more during this time too which makes me think it is hormonal but not sure how? My theory is higher cortisol at this time of the month raising my temps and making me unhappy. Then the minute my period starts, hormones drop and so does the cortisol? What else influences temps? I am trying so hard and for so long to figure this out. I hoping some out there can clue me in.
