Guest guest
Hi , Why do you have to suppress the thyroid in order to clear t3? Where you on T4 before ? Misty Lowering T3 and Temps I had to lower my T3 in order to stabilize my temps and lower my pulse. I went down from 75 mcg to 50 mcg and my temps are averaging about 98.5. I'm sleeping better too. Even with T3 at night. I am on 10 wks of T3 treatment and so I thought I only had two more weeks to go until my RT3 cleared. Is it possible that my thyroid is suppressed on 50 mcg since my temps are close to 98.6? I'm just wondering if my T3 will be able to clear in a few weeks or if I absolutely have to get the T3 up to 75 mcg in order to suppress my thyroid and clear T3. Thanks! Guest guest
Because your own thyroid will make T4 and it will turn to RT3. > > > Hi , > > Why do you have to suppress the thyroid in order to clear t3? > Where you on T4 before ? > > Misty > > > > > > > Lowering T3 and Temps > > > > > I had to lower my T3 in order to stabilize my temps and lower my pulse. Guest guest
WIth your temps that close to normal you may not need any more T3 than that. You may have had RT3 clkearance already as that si nearly a normal temp anyway. -- http://nthadrenalsweb.org/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://faqhelp.webs.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/ http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/
