Which CT do you go to? It's possible that it's a bad fit and she

might benefit from a recasting and new band. It's not common but

possible. It does sound a little more loose than it should be. It

shouldn't show big gaps or press down on anything. A little bit while

they sleep would be normal, but nothing dramatic. Are the pink spots

on the prominent/rounder side of her head or the flat spot side? I

would think it would be on the prominent side that is being held in

place, but that still should't be happening. At least we didn't

experience that with our DOCBand. I think that therapists tend to say

it's normal during the first week because it's natural to go through

an adjustment phase, but I would keep asking about it until you get

the answers you're looking for.

Good luck! I really hope it gets better for both of you!

One thing I would do is take a picture of the redness in the morning

and show it to CT. Is the band loose when she isn't sleeping? Can you

get a second opinion from someone else at the CT office? If not I

would send pics to the corporate office and see what they think. If it

fits okay then she should get used to it, but you want to make sure

the fit is good.
