Guest guest
My belief is this: WHne we are hypothyroid our boies fdo not detox ANYTHING properly, thus YES toxic metals and poisons bnuild up in our systems, BUT raise T3 ot a goods levle wher eit can work a it i meant to and all btu the WORST toxins can be removed safely wiht simple antioxidants. In my 20's I had a severe insecticide poisoning wiht Dursban., The environmental doctor saidf then it would be wiht me for life, but ya knwo what? Since a year on lots of T3 my chemical sensitivites are gone. I sprayed my lawmn yesterday wiht NO nausea! This would have been impossible a year ago. I cna now walk down an isle of laundry detergnet which used ot choke me and they smell good! I think chelation is VERY dangerous and shoudl never be attempted until your thyroid and adrenals are RIGHT. THNEN if you hv e lingering symptoms, go right ahead. -- http://nthadrenalsweb.org/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://faqhelp.webs.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/ http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/
Guest guest
> >I have high RT3, which I thought was brought on mostly by dieting and my low ferritin. However, I have 4 big mercury fillings [snip] >Any ideas which one I should try??! Dieting is a strong trigger for RT3 and that in turn can trigger low ferritin. Low T3/FT3 ratio causing the cellular level of T3 to be low can cause a buildup of toxins as it slows down the excretion of toxins. My gut feeling is going onto T3 only and getting the RT3 levels down and the receptors clear will help the rest to resolve, you will of course need the ferritin up at 70 or more to be able to do this. I have a feeling this in itself will resolve the mercury levels if they are indeed high. " Most people " don't seem to have issues from amalgam fillings, I can't remember anyone saying they felt better after they were removed. Gut feeling is sort out ferritin, check adrenals, and take a few months on T3. If you want to get the fillings removed at some stage than that will stop things building up more but Val's experience is that the toxins will be reduced by going onto T3 and getting thyroid levels stabilized. It seems that a suppressive dose of T3 won't shut down your thyroid, whether you can come off T3 after remains to be seen though.
