Guest guest
Nick, thanks for that info. The concern I have is that I take 100mcg SR T3 / 62.5 T4 upon waking. I do have a problem with RT3, hopefully that is resolved. I started back on the T4, I will know when I get my test results back if that has gone back up. Anyway my concern is since I get alot of t3 at once, and I feel better not long after, and then I start the switch over to cytomel or cynomel at 12.5 x4, do you think that its enough to start without crashing. I feel fine until about 6pm (not always), then I start to drag, I wake up the next morning with muscle aches and pains but not long after I take the t3 it's like a light switch, I feel better, pains are almost gone and my energy is normal.Where can I order cynomel from Mexico, the price of compounding SR T3 is killing me.Thanks, you guys are the best, I really appreciate all of your help in getting people lives back.ChristieTo: RT3_T3 From: christiepileggi@...Date: Sun, 9 May 2010 13:01:08 +0000Subject: Re: Not sure to remain on T4 & high T3 after RT3 depletion Should I continue with t4 while I'm changing over to cynomel. I don't think I need it since I was off it when I was trying to eliminate my high RT3 and started back on when my labs came back. I thought that my low t4 was nt good. My t3 was mid range and RT3 low. I felt better but had contin with hairloss so I started adding again T4 (62.5) Sent from my Verizon Wireless BlackBerryFrom: Nick Foot <lists (AT) oakfield-icelandics (DOT) co.uk> Date: Sun, 09 May 2010 12:20:57 +0100To: <RT3_T3 >Subject: Re: Not sure to remain on T4 high T3 after RT3 depletion >. I don't think Im at my range yet. I started back on T4 same dose and have remained on the two for 3mo. Should I not be on both at the same time especially with T3 at 100mcg. The compounded doesn't seem to be that strong for some reason. I thinking of changing to cytomel but don't know what dose to start off with and eliminate compounding T3. Does anyone know how to do this safely without becoming hypo or hyper. I assume cytomel is stronger then the compounding T3 since its slow release. Thanks The general suggestion is that compounded SR T3 is about 2/3 the strength of branded Cytomel or Grossmen Cynomel (cheap, from Mexico). I would start on 50 of T3 taking in 4 doses of 12.5 and then be prepared to go up by 12.5 at a time every 2 or 3 days until you find your optimum dose. I would do that initially by adding extra doses and then start increasing doses one at a time to 25 instead of 12.5 Each time you are thinking of increasing ask yourself if you are ready for an increase as per this page http://thyroid-rt3.com/doineed.htm Nick -- for more information on RT3 and Thyroid Resistance go to www.thyroid-rt3.com
