Guest guest Posted May 11, 2010 Report Share Posted May 11, 2010 You've said your ferritin is " good " , but the panic part sounds an awful lot like a low-ferritin reaction. It may be worthwhile to have your ferritin tested again (as well as an iron panel, if possible). As you probably know, ferritin can be falsely elevated by inflammation, giving you test results that look like your ferritin is fine when it is actually too low.
