Guest guest
After a TSH of .005 and feeling awful, I dropped all dessicated and stayed on SRT3 120mg. Since then my pulse when really relaxed is as low as 60 bpm, but my temps are better-even hitting 99F and that's after a couple of strenous days, something that would not have happened before-before after any sort of hard work or stress I would have seen lower temps for a couple of days. I am sore-I overdone it at work and tired, but yet I have energy and acually feel like doing stuff, but pulse shows I am hypo as heck-correct? or am I missing something? My pulse will climb if I get a little busy-maybe 66-84bpm just fiddling around the house, but that's about it. I've only been off dessicated for 5 days, but I can tell I was over medicated-the return of energy alone with much less muscle weakness has been a God send. Pulse as I type this is 66 bpm, and temp is around 98.5 and I haven't done anything today. It's 2 PM.

I put it down to the T4 has sunk to a level where it could convert the right way. My gut feeling is you may be passing through that and temperatures will drop and you go hypo after a few days. Keep an eye on temperature and pulse and see what happens. Guest guest
I'm confused what direction to go right now. I think the SR is likely more gentle as well on the adrenals as some releases every hour instead of once every 3 hours (if you dose Cynomel every 3 hours.) However, it's clear the first dose of SR doesn't last long enough for me as my temps drop significantly before the 2nd dose and it's not low cortisol because taking HC doesn't raise the temp, but the 2nd dose of SR DOES raise my temps back up. I guess I could try taking a larger AM dose as Nick suggestged. He said that temps shouldn't drop so drastically if there is a decent level of t3 in your system. He also suggested just taking a tiny hit of Cynomel in the early afternoon when I feel the SR is not doing it. I guess I will just have to try each method for a week each and see how it goes. I hate all this experimenting, though! Guest guest
Darin, why do you take SR 4 times a day? So how many hours apart do you take it? It seems like this would effectively be no different than taking Cynomel several times a day except, well, I guess the SR releases constantly instead of giving you a " hit " every time you take it. Still, SR does release 30 to 50% of the dose, so is there still somewhat of a " hit. " But since SR does release about 8 hours, some of your doses must end up building on the previous dose. Hey, if it works, I'm not questioning that. I am just trying to understand HOW you do it as I decide between cynomel and SR. Thanks bunches, Kathleen > > > > > > > > > > > > > >Since then my pulse when really relaxed is as low as 60 bpm, but my temps are better-even hitting 99F and that's after a couple of strenous days, something that would not have happened before-before after any sort of hard work or stress I would have seen lower temps for a couple of days. > > > > > > > > > >I am sore-I overdone it at work and tired, but yet I have energy and acually feel like doing stuff, but pulse shows I am hypo as heck-correct? or am I missing something > > > > > > > > I found when I stopped natural and went to T3 I had a surge after a > > > > week or so and had to drop the T3 temporarily.
