Guest guest
First off, thanks for welcoming me onto the board. My son is four months old and just had his first appt. yesterday at Cranial Technologies. He needs the docband and I'm very content with the decision. Ever since my ped first mentioned it, I've been researching and such and feel very confident that it's the best decision for my son. Yesterday at the clinic, they gave me a folder with two articles and some other information. I came home and talked to my husband about our appt and the need for the docband. He was very supportive and even joked about decorating the band certain ways. Later in the night, he read the articles that were in the folder and now he's having different thoughts. He thinks it's purely a cosmetic issue. The articles mentioned that there is NO proven evidence that if untreated it will cause problems later on. Personally, I think that the chance is enough to treat it now and prevent that from even being ap ossibility. I'm just having a very tough time. Instead of getting the support I need, we're torn and I'm going to be going through a huge ordeal all alone. Please, help me find some research or something that can educate my husband. I've searched the internet, but really haven't found anything about specific studies, or instances where the plagio wasn't treated and what happened etc. Help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
